Information

  • Born in Cairo, Egypt to a Lebanese father and a Palestinian mother. I studied Art & Design at SJSU in California before moving back to Egypt and then the UAE. After years as an Art Dircetor in advertising, I moved to France for a year where I focused on my art.

I have always loved watercolor, figure drawing and portraits. I am captivated by the 1920s, fairies, Frida Kahlo & all things whimsical; elements that strongly influence my art. I’m always learning, exploring and trying to find a rhythm between being a woman, a mother, a wife and a painter.

Using watercolor as my primary medium, the female form is the focus of my work, where I emphasize the sacred beauty of a woman’s body, mind and soul. Depicted in a whimsical and dreamy form, I try to bring out the power and softness of femininity.    EXHIBITIONS:
