Artist view: This is a series of Kaori's work "re:" The background of this work comes from Dubai, the host city of World Art Dubai. The work effectively uses local motifs and the frame of a girl in the form of a pink cat to express three times simultaneously: past, present, and future, reminding the viewer of the memories that have accumulated behind the time, and leading to hope for the future. The themes of Kaori Sakaguchi's works are as follows. Events in our lives that move us greatly are symbols of abundance. My paintings are always about the movement of the heart. I use Japanese brush pens and create my world from them. Through my paintings, I hope to be a storyteller who conveys the richness of life to the viewer.
