Art has the ability to show things that words and writing can't express. It brings out the subconscious and unconscious sometimes to show what I am really feeling and thinking. I am able to express myself, and to have others analyze it. It has taken me to many places; from childhood, all the way through adult hood to the most interesting and satisfying point of life. It brings out topics and emotions that I never thought I would discuss which has truly helped me grow emotionally and mentally. It has helped me gain strength in my weak areas so that I can become a better human being.. When I started putting shapes and shades on canvas, what turned out was cubes in various shapes and size. I had no idea that this form of art has been there for more than a hundred years is called “Cubism”. Abstraction is about the ideology of the artist. The ideology that she gains from society but not by using recognisable subjects. Colour, line, form and texture are the 'subject' of the painting. It comes straight out of the artist's mind and thoughts. She doesn't follow rules. She is free. It comes straight out of the artist's mind and thoughts.
