The garden of prosperity-Mind blooming 6 by Lee Ji Young

I work "The garden of prosperity series" with the motive of coexistence between human being and nature including love for mankind. The bird wearing gold crown in Shilla Dynasty of Korea is not only the image of human but also mother nature. Peony blossom and camellia flower represent the wealth, prosperity and happiness. I was inspired by white porcelain openwork in Chosun Dynasty of Korea and modern ceramics. I like matiere. So I piled up and painted Gelstone with knife and brush. Also, I painted with brush-touch like impressionist and used traditional materials including the other craft materials. My work contains abstraction and conception. Colorful bars such like light spectrum transiting prism are reflected by Korea traditional Hanbok, color field abstract of Mondrian and Korea traditional colors. I wish you will have a happy mind and mind bloomingness through my work.
