Amal Salloum

A self-taught painter and art lover, Lebanese-Canadian artist Amal Salloum was born in Beirut and graduated from the American University of Beirut. At an early age, she lived in an environment where art held a special and important place, cultivating a profound connection to a modem to freely express her creative talents from adolescence. Amal went on to travel extensively and lived in Paris and Montreal since 1985; the exposure to various forums and cultures expanded her view of the world and piqued an interest in the abstract genre, captivated by a medium which allows the beholder to interpret the piece how they see fit.
