Neo-abstract expressionist Egyptian artist, Amir Roshdy (b.1982) was born and raised in the United Arab Emirates. He left for Cairo, Egypt to enroll in a business management college, and at the same time began studying art at the university's Fine Arts Center.
The works of Amir are a blend of expressionism, surrealism, and objective abstract. He depicts the intensely abstract moment by deeply analyzing the multidimensional reality down to a single hue and shape. He prefers to incorporate the perspectives of his viewers into his artwork.
Amir has received numerous accolades and honors from his initial participation in various collective expositions in Egypt.
He won a major award from the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Youth of Egypt and was hailed as one of the most gifted and intelligent artists by the French University in Egypt and Helwan University in Cairo.
He participated in World Art Dubai 2022 and had his works on exhibit in a number of Italian, Dubai & Egyptian galleries and art institutions.
