Behnaz Farahani

Behnaz Farahani was born on 1989 in Iran. She is university professor and contemporary Iranian visual artist with fifteen Years of successful experience in painting. specialize in Mixed Media Art, Abstract Art,Acrylic Painting,ResinArt,Papiermache Sculpture,Wall Painting, Printmaking and Video Art and also founder and owner of Maheno Art Academy. Collections of her works were shown in 2022 in America, Germany, Spain, Bulgaria, Philippines, Armenia and Turkey.

Behnaz Farahani is an Iranian artist and designer whose recent works are based upon contemporary art and taken by Iranian carpet patterns and in her works instead of adapting from tradition she wants her art to be a form of  revival in the form of contemporary language. And in her recent works she wants to express meanings such as culture , life and space with a branding new technique using resin in her works .  She for the first time shows this new innovation in the Dubai World Art exhibition in UAE to the eyes of gallery owners , creators , collectors , brand oweners and Modern and contemporary art lovers . She has been active in the fields of oil paintings, acrylics, hand prints and interior design for nearly two decades and has held various exhibitions. From her point of view, painting should be about the time spent on it.  Behnaz Farahani is a master degree painting graduate. She has been working professionally as a designer and painter in Tehran and Karaj for more than twelve years.  She is teaching as the head of the institute's board of directors and a university professor.  Iranian carpet motifs play a major role in her recent paintings.  Farahani uses various patterns and motifs of Iranian carpets in her creations and by displaying them, she expands the visual and formal capacities of her works.  In this way, it gives them a clear and vivid effect, which has never been seen before.
